Halcyon Archives provides advisory services to collectors including library development, authentication facilitation, and community engagement. Services are provided for personal collecting purposes.
2. Professional Services
Our services are provided as professional advisory support. We do not:
- • Buy or sell objects on behalf of clients
- • Provide investment advice or financial guarantees
- • Offer formal appraisals or valuations
- • Make acquisition recommendations without request
3. Payment Terms
Service fees are outlined in individual proposals. Payment is typically required before service commencement. Additional costs (specialist fees, laboratory charges) are billed separately with prior approval.
4. Confidentiality
All information about your collection, acquisitions, and collecting interests remains confidential. We do not share client information without explicit written consent.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided with care and diligence. However, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes in authentication, acquisition, or other matters.
Authentication findings represent specialist opinions and may be subject to revision as knowledge advances. Collection decisions remain the responsibility of the collector.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Singapore law. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation in Singapore before proceeding to arbitration if necessary.
